Using modules together
Switch on any mix of modules. Only Slide-Fade-Blur and Exit-Fade-Up are either-or. A few others know about each other: one waits its turn, or steps aside in one spot so the two never fight. Every case is below, checked in a real browser. The same list is in the plugin, on each module.
Pick one
Only one can be on. Both move whole elements as you scroll.
- Slide-Fade-Blur + Exit-Fade-Up Both move whole elements as you scroll, so the admin lets you switch on only one.
Steps aside
Both can be on, but in one situation one of them doesn't run.
- Split Reveal + Background Video Split Reveal skips headings with video text (
video-text-np): the video shows through letters that stay still, so the words don't rise there. - Lightbox + Background Video Background videos pause while the Lightbox is open and play again when it closes (unless the visitor paused them).
- Lightbox + Smooth Scroll Smooth Scroll stops while the Lightbox is open, so the page behind it stays put.
- Mobile Menu + Smooth Scroll Smooth Scroll stops while the phone menu is open, so the page behind it stays put.
Takes turns
Both run on the same spot, one after the other.
- Split Reveal + Slide-Fade-Blur A headline inside a section Slide-Fade-Blur is animating waits for the section to arrive, then its words rise.
- Split Reveal + Exit-Fade-Up A headline inside a section Exit-Fade-Up is fading in waits until the section is (nearly) all the way in, then its words rise.
Teams up
They're made for each other: one knows about the other, or a setting lines them up.
- Fit Text + Background Video Put
fit-text-npon the heading inside avideo-text-npBackground Video: whenever Fit Text resizes the name, the video's letter shapes are redrawn to match. - Form Spam Protection + HubSpot Bridge The HubSpot Bridge asks Form Spam Protection first, so a form it flags as spam is never sent to HubSpot.
- Smooth Scroll + Smart Header Set Smooth Scroll's anchor link offset to your header's height, so in-page links stop below the Smart Header.
- Dark Mode + Background Video The tint follows your band color (the default), so in dark mode it switches to the dark band color with everything else.

Checked together in a browser: no clash, nothing to do.
- Scroll Expand + Slide-Fade-Blur On the same element: Slide-Fade-Blur brings its children in while Scroll Expand opens the frame. They use different properties.
- Scroll Expand + Exit-Fade-Up On the same element: Exit-Fade-Up fades it in and out while Scroll Expand opens the frame. They use different properties.
- Scroll Expand + Smooth Scroll The frame opens smoothly with momentum scrolling.
- Fit Text + Split Reveal On the same heading: Fit Text sizes it, then the words rise.
- Smart Header + Background Video A fixed Smart Header leaves the play and pause buttons of a hero video clear and clickable.
- Button: Text Roll + Split Reveal A rolling button inside a Split Reveal block rises in with the words and still rolls on hover.
